Wolfeboro Public Safety Building: Site Drainage Improvements | 2011

As part of a long-term plan, the Town of Wolfeboro selected Quantum Construction Consultants to design site improvements at their Public Safety Complex. This phase of the project was a continuation of a prior project that improved the site drainage at the front of the building and a new parking lot. Phase II extended the drainage system further to the rear of the building addressing the perimeter drive and the apparatus parking aprons.

The project included the full depth reconstruction of existing paved driveways and parking aprons, and provided for the conversion of a gravel surfaced parking area to a bituminous surfaced parking area. Additionally, due to the high ground water conditions of the site, the project included the installation of an aggregate underdrain infiltration gallery beneath the new and reconstructed parking areas.

Our team was responsible for engineering, design and preparation of bidding/ construction documents to enable bid solicitation and implementation of the work, as well as material testing coordination.
