Memorial Park Pedestrian Bridge Relocation, Antrim, NH | 2019

Quantum Construction Consultants completed the design for removal and relocation of a prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge salvaged from the West Street Bridge Replacement Project in Antrim, NH. The pedestrian bridge was relocated to Memorial Park and replaced an existing wooden pedestrian bridge.

This bridge continues to provide pedestrian access over Great Brook from Memorial Park to Main Street. The Bridge Relocation Project included site evaluation at Memorial Park for access, crane setting requirements, hydraulic evaluation of Great Brook and site design to set the salvaged bridge above the 100-year flood level. Reinforced concrete abutments were designed to accomodate the configuration of the existing steel bridge bearing seats. Approach ramp profiles were developed for ADA accessibility.

This project was constructed in 2019 utilizing Town funds.
