Oak Hill Road Reconstruction Project, Northfield, NH | 2009

Oak Hill Road lies within the western portion of the Town of Northfield and parallels I-93. The roadway serves as a collector road and commuting route for the rural residential area of western Northfield and the southeastern area of the City of Franklin. The roadway was compromised in that it lacked adequate roadside drainage and the pavement condition was severely deteriorated. The Town retained QCC to undertake the design of drainage improvements and roadway reconstruction for approximately 4200 LF of the roadway. The project provided for new closed drainage systems, new roadside swales, in-place roadway reclamation, structural improvements of the roadway base through importation of crushed gravels, new pavements, and crushed gravel shoulders.

Quantum Construction Consultants developed construction documents, provided bidding assistance and construction oversight for implementation during 2009. The project was funded by the Town of Northfield.
